Sled Hockey is ice hockey played while sitting in a sled. Players wear full hockey equipment – helmets, neck guards, shoulder pads,elbow pads, gloves, hockey pants and shin guards. Sled hockey is easily adaptable and persons of any ability are able to participate. Ages 5 – 18 but adults are welcome too. Benefits include: fun, good cardio workout, strengthening upper body, socialization, and promotes team work.
