This organization does not provide direct service to children but supports the school districts in their quest to provide education to all children including those with disabilities in the most legal and optimal way. The staff are knowledgeable about the legal issues involving the education of children with disabilities and could be a resource for parents who have questions about their child’s education in the school districts that fall under this center.

Mission Statement: The purpose of the Ashtabula County Educational Service Center is to be a high performing organization that enables districts to achieve Excellence.

The Ashtabula County Schools are comprised of four local school districts (Buckeye, Grand Valley, Jefferson, and Pymatuning Valley), three city school districts (Ashtabula Area, Conneaut Area, and Geneva Area), and the Ashtabula County Technical and Career Center. The Pymatuning Valley Local Schools also operate the Veterans Memorial Performing Arts Center.
