We are people, with and without developmental disabilities, sharing life in communities belonging to an International Federation. Mutual relationships and trust in God are at the heart of our journey together. We celebrate the unique value of every person and recognize our need of one another.
Our mission is:
To make known the gifts of people with developmental disabilities, revealed through mutually transforming relationships
To foster an environment in community that responds to the changing needs of our members, while being faithful to the core values of our founding story and
To engage in our diverse cultures, working together toward a more human society.
There are four congregate setting homes with 24-hour support, serving 14 core members with developmental disabilities in the LrsquoArche Cleveland Community. We own two of our homes, which are licensed by the state of Ohio. The other two homes in which we lsquolive LrsquoArchersquo are North Coast Community Homes and are leased by core members as supported living homes. All of our homes have the presence of live-in assistants who, along with those assistants who live outside of the LrsquoArche community, are the backbone of creating home.
