Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities

Adult services include: Employment Programs,Traumatic Brain Injury Program , Intensive Needs Unit/Program , Social Recreational Programs and Senior Citizen Programs.

The Education Services Department provides learning opportunities and support programs for children ages birth to 22. Services include: Family support,Early Intervention,Preschool and school age programs and Transition Services.

Information and Referral Services include: Benefits such as Medicaid, Social Security, food stamps, etc., Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities programs and services, Community Resource and Service Information, Transition Services,
Individuals Education Plans (IEP) and Emergency and Crisis Intervention .

Support Administrator Services include: identifying issues and concerns of individuals and/or families, assisting in developing a customized Individual Service Plan (ISP), finding the resources individuals may need, helping to select service providers, monitoring the progress of ISPs, ensuring services are effective and are being delivered according to the ISP, providing information and referral to other community agencies and obtaining services and supports that maintain an individuals health, safety and welfare.

The mission of Special Olympics Ohio is to provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilitiesMedina County.

Hand in Hand Creations, an enterprise of the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities. This program helps people with developmental disabilities discover their creative expression and gives them an opportunity to earn a salary.
