Vision and Mission

2-1-1 is a three-digit phone number utilized across North America for confidential and easy access to help for social service needs. At United Way 2-1-1, we are committed to maximizing the potential of those three digits not only for our clients, but also for service providers and the community as a whole. 2-1-1 is much more than just a phone number. Whether the engagement with 2-1-1 starts with a phone call, chat, text or in-person assistance, the goal is to end with the discovery of new information, the resolution of a problem and lasting improvement to a person’s life.

Mission

United Way 2-1-1 connects individuals and families to social services 24 hours a day, every day of the year. We provide accurate and timely assessment, information and service navigation to help people understand their options, resolve problems and improve their lives. By informing the community of needs, gaps and trends, 2-1-1 facilitates system change.
