I am a Licensed, Board-Certified Music Therapist providing compassionate, creative, evidence-based music therapy, adapted theater, adapted instrument lessons, and wellness services to clients of all ages and abilities, in support of their mental, physical, cognitive, communication, emotional, and spiritual goals. Sessions may take place in your residence, facility, community location, or via telehealth. I’ve been working successfully with people on the Autism spectrum, developmental or physical disabiities, dementia, stroke, substance use disorder, and neurodegenerative conditions. We use both receptive and expressive music experiences, such as listening, singing, playing instruments, movement, lyric discussion, songwriting, and guided visualization to music. Sessions are tailored to the strengths and needs of each client or group, and documentation on progress is provided.
