Community Support Services, Inc.

Community Support Services serves as a safety net for those who suffer from illnesses such as schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, major depression and personality disorders.

Community Support Services meets individuals where they live to make sure their basic needs are met. The treatment staff works with each person to develop an appropriate plan of treatment based on identified strengths, needs, abilities and preferences. Services combine psychiatric treatment with life skills training so that individuals have the opportunity to live productive and independent lives.

Community Support Services, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to provide comprehensive behavioral and primary health services to Summit County adults living with severe and persistent mental illnesses who are most in need of on going support so they can live as independently as possible in the community.

Who receives services?
Community Support Services provides services to adult residents of Summit County who either have a lengthy treatment history or who are at risk of being hospitalized due to a severe mental illness. The agency serves young adults, older adults, nursing home residents, individuals who are homeless, individuals involved in the criminal justice system and individuals who have a co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse problem.
