For over 30 years, Ascentia has provided residential housing and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental illness . We are committed to serving a culturally diverse community and supporting individual goals and preferences to allow for an improved quality of life. Ascentia supports a varied number of residential possibilities, customized to fit our clientrsquos specific needs and wishes:
24 hours/day and 7 days/week support
Region on-call teams are on duty 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to provide assistance to staff and clients when needed
Weekly and drop-in support
Residential settings for groups and individuals in single family homes and apartments
Supports for the persons with physical, intellectual and emotional challenges
Family consortium residential sites
Mental health and medical nursing services
Specialized housing for adults with hearing impairment, traumatic brain injury, and autisim spectrum disorder
Ascentia operates in over 50 group residences in eastern Cuyahoga, Geauga and Summit counties. JFSA is a contract agency of the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities and an Individual/Options Waiver and Level One provider.
