Biographical Sketch

Johanna Goldfarb, MD, is head of Pediatric Infectious Diseases in the Pediatric Institute at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital (CCCH). She is a Full Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University (CCLCM). Dr. Goldfarb is a member of Medical Student Portfolio Review Committee (MSPRC) for promotion of the medical students, as well as the Academic Promotions committee for the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine for staff physicians.

Dr. Goldfarb is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases by the American Board of Pediatrics. Her clinical interests include clinical pediatric infectious diseases and infections in immunocompromised children. Her research interests include infections in children with cancer and after transplantation. Dr. Goldfarb has received many teaching awards in her career and also the Cleveland Clinic’s Bruce Hubbard Stewart Award “in recognition of her ability to combine sensitivity and compassion with knowledge and skill in the practice of medicine.”
