LEAP - Cleveland

LEAP has a broad array of programs that maximize individual choice and assist people with disabilities in remaining active in the community.

Independent living services include the Disability Benefits Assistance program, Independent Living Skills Assessment and Training , Nursing Home Transition Services, Personal Care Assistance, Quantum LEAP providing recreational opportunities for people with developmental disabilities who live on Cleveland’s east side, and Low Vision Services are offered in Lorain County for residents 55 years of age and older.

Vocational Rehabilitation Services are offered in seven counties to assist people with disabilities in preparing for, obtaining, and retaining employment including Health Careers Training Program, Home Health Aide/Personal Assistant program,and State Tested Nurses Assistant (STNA).

LEAP Youth Services offers two programs that help young adults with disabilities master skills needed for success in adulthood. Job Link is a school-to-work transition program and High School/High Tech is a community-based enrichment program.

LEAP works for social change and equality for all people, regardless of disability.
