The Groovy Garfoose, LLC was founded by Bonnie Hayhurst, MT-BC in 2009, with the intention of making music accessible to everyone.  At the Groovy Garfoose, we provide music therapy services to all ages, abilities, and communities in Northeast Ohio. While we serve many audiences, each session is designed with creativity and compassion to support each client to their fullest potential. At the GG, we believe in the power of music therapy and collaboration with our client’s and their families to foster a strengths-based approach to growth and wellness.  Building strong relationships with our clients and their families is what sets us apart.

In addition to serving clients at our clinic in Summit County, Ohio, we also partner with preschools, schools, after school programs, libraries, day programs and work programs to bring music therapy and music enrichment to the Northeast Ohio IDD Community.

We are approved providers through the Ohio Department of Education’s Autism Scholarship program and Jon Peterson program and we accept third party reimbursement through county Department of Developmental Disabilities Level 1 PDGS funds, Family Support Services funds, SELF Waiver funds and Zane’s Foundation.
